A landmark event bringing together Middle-Belt activists, leaders, and community members from across Nigeria and the diaspora. The summit aims to promote a sense of oneness among Middle-Belt peoples and provide an opportunity to collectively brainstorm solutions to our common challenges.
Who We Are
Uniting the Middle-Belt (UMB) is a grassroots organisation dedicated to enabling Middle-Belt people to be truly free to live and thrive as we see fit. We coordinate efforts among indigenous peoples of the North to work together and in cooperation with Southern peoples to counter displacement and oppression.
Our organisation brings together everyday people from all walks of life, of Middle-Belt descent, who share a strong belief in the Middle-Belt and have a track record of contributing sacrificially to Middle-Belt causes. We work collectively to understand issues, develop optimal solutions, and execute strategies for maximum impact.
Important: UMB is not affiliated with any religion or political party. We are an independent, grassroots organisation focused solely on the empowerment, unity, and self-determination of Middle-Belt peoples.
What Drives Us
Our members reside across Nigeria, United States, United Kingdom, Germany, and Canada. We work with allied groups including CONAECDA, Middle-Belt Coalition, United Middle-Belt Development Forum, Middle-Belt Diaspora, and others to achieve our goals.
